Kelley and Heather are Peekawhoo.
Kelley tries to be stylish. Heather doesn’t try; she is.
Kelley likes to run. Heather wants to like to run, but the odds aren’t looking good at this point.
Kelley has been married 11 years (June bride). Heather has been married 11 years (December bride).
Kelley was a Chi Omega at The University of North Carolina. Heather was a Chi Omega at The University of Georgia, so having the owl as their mascot made perfect sense. (But please don’t ask them What Time It Is).
Kelley always thought she’d be living in New York City as a starving artist at this point in her life; instead she’s living in Greenville, SC, with three sons who are always starving. Heather always thought she’d be a stay-at-home mom; instead she’s the mother of a daughter and son and also happens to have a successful business at home before starting Peekawhoo.
Kelley’s first car was an orange 1984 Volkswagen Rabbit convertible that had been driven by her dad, brother, and cousin before she got her hands on it and blared Led Zeppelin out of the new tape player. Heather’s first car was a white Convertible MG Midgit who’s tape player didn’t get to blare Madonna nearly enough, because it sadly spent more time in the shop than on the road.
Kelley loves to knit, and although her grandmother taught her how to sew years ago, the sewing machine her husband bought her on the heels of their first baby is still collecting dust over in the corner of the family room. Heather’s a Jedi Master on the sewing machine-and the Tajima- thanks to her mom and her grandmother’s patient instruction after the birth of her daughter.
They’re both so glad you’re here, and hope you’ll stop by often to visit Peekawhoo-their gift to you.
