Ordering and Shipping

What's Your Shipping Policy?

We use USPS and UPS to keep your shipping costs low. Once it’s in their hands, it will take anywhere from 1-5 additional days, depending on your location-we’re centrally located in Indiana.  

Do you offer free shipping?  

For orders over $120, shipping is free! 

Do you offer International Shipping?

Not yet...but soon! 

How do I know my order has shipped?

You will receive an email from us with a tracking number. Please allow 12-24 business hours for the postal service to process the package as it must be scanned at the location of departure.   

How long will it take to process my order?

Orders that do not include personalized items will be processed in 1-3 business days. Orders with personalized items, not including Jellycats, may take 6-10 business days. Orders with personalized Jellycats can take up to 3 weeks to process, especially during our busy season. PLEASE NOTE-During the months of March and December, shipping times will vary as this is our busiest season.  

What if I need my order by a certain date?

If you have an urgent monogram need, contact us at info@peekawhoo.com. We’re happy to accommodate rush orders when we can, and can rush an order for an additional fee.

What if I give you the wrong address?

If you realize you have given us the wrong address, please contact us immediately so that we can change the address.  If your order has already shipped, we are no longer responsible for the package.    

What happens if my package is returned to you?

We will contact you as soon as we receive your package.  If you've provided incorrect or insufficient shipping information, we ask that you pay a standard shipping fee for the second shipment.  

USPS says my package has been delivered, but I can't find it.

Occasionally, our cute packages get picked up by a spouse, roommate, curious child, or neighbor.  Please check with them to see if they've picked it up!  If not, we recommend checking with your mail carrier to see if he or she delivered the package.  Occasionally, packages will show up after they've been marked as delivered.

What if I make a spelling error on my item?

If you realize you’ve made an error, contact us immediately so we can remedy the problem before your order is processed. If you realize the error after we've processed your order, we're sorry! We are not responsible for replacing the item. 

You made an error on my item.  What should I do?  

We are sorry! If we make an error, please contact us immediately via email with a photo. We we will ship you another item right away. Spelled correctly, of course.

Can I change my order? 

If you need something changed, contact us immediately.  Once your order is processed, we can no longer make changes. 

Paypal wouldn't accept my Ship To address.  What should I do?

No problem!  Simply email us at info@peekawhoo.com with the correct mailing address, and we'll get it going to the right place.

Products and Embroidery

What are the rules for placing initials in a monogram?

A girl’s monogram traditionally has her first name initial on the left, middle/maiden name initial on the right, and last name initial larger and in the middle. For boys, you can choose from several options and fonts. Straight across-Jack Thompson Smith: JTS. Or the traditional Circle font with first name initial on the left, middle initial on the right, and last name initial larger and in the center: JST. A more modern look for boys is to stack your monogram: J on top of T with a larger S on the right. The font you choose from the pull down menu will look just like the font sample style you choose. 

May I please see what my specific initials will look like in a particular font? 

We have our Name Fonts conveniently listed HERE and our Monogram Fonts listed HERE.  We cannot show you exactly what your letters would look like, but you can have a look at the alphabets and your particular letters at the above pages.

How come some fonts are available for some pieces and not for others?

We have chosen certain fonts for certain pieces for various reasons, whether it’s because it suits that particular garment or because we just like it and we think you will too. Sometimes a certain font won’t work on a particular fabric, so we’ve omitted it. If you’re positively wild about a particular font for a particular piece and it’s not available, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

Are there special care instructions for embroidery?

We recommend following all apparel item wash instructions. However, it’s best not to wash embroidered items with other items that have buttons, zippers, or anything else that could potentially snag the embroidery. Peekawhoo is not responsible for damage to products due to misuse, normal wear and tear, or by dry cleaning.

Does your price include monogramming/embroidery?

Yes! All item prices include embroidery or monogram. If for some reason you don’t want anything on your item, just choose “None” from the drop-down menu; the price of the item will remain the same.

What if I don't know the baby's initials yet?

Unfortunately, we cannot hold items that you've purchased in order for your to monogram them at a later date.  The good thing is, we continually restock ridiculously adorable gifts, so you can always find something cute!

The item I want to order is listed as OUT OF STOCK.  Will you be getting more back on the website?

Hopefully!  We try to keep all of our most popular items in stock. You're welcome to email us at info@peekawhoo.com for more information regarding the item, and we'll be happy to provide details.

May I mail you something I own to monogram? 

We're sorry!  We can't accept mail-in items to personalize.

I Let Peekawhoo Pick and don't like what you picked.  What should I do? 

Oh no!  We're sorry! We choose fonts and colors based on what's trending in the studio and on years of experience with our products!  Unfortunately, we cannot replace your items once you've received them.

What is your return policy?

Due to personalization, all of our products arel final sale.  If your product is defective, please contact us immediately with a photo of your item.  

Do you share my contact information?

NO! Not ever, never. We hate junk mail, love our privacy, and respect yours too. Other than to mail your items or include you on our email list for specials and deals, we’ll keep a low profile. If you don’t wish to receive Peekawhoo emails and updates, just let us know. We’d love to have you, of course, but understand if your inbox is filled to the brim. We do hope you’ll check in with us often though!
